The dello Iacono surname has to be one of THE worst to try and search for in the U.S. records. In Italian it's pronounced "dello Yacono", which leaves it open to all manner of mutilation as far as English translations go.
Usually an exact search for either "Iacono/Iacona" or "Yacono/Yacona" will do the trick, but if I'm forced to do a soundex .... I reach for the Tylenol. This one isn't too bad, but I see they did a number on mother Emanuella Todesca.
