ABDUCTS GIRL, ASKS $1000 TO WED HER

"Not only did this man abduct my daughter but he then wrote me a letter demanding $1000 in order to have him marry her to obliterate her disgrace," asserted Dominico Capobianco, a wealthy proprietor of a chain of small stores throughout Boston as he started last night with Inspector Kilday for Washington, where his daughter and her alleged abductor are under arrest.
The man accused is Albert Todesco, a former Boston barber, who disappeared nearly a year ago with 17-year old Guiseppana Capobianco, who is claimed to have taken with her $135 of her father's money.
She lives with her parents on Clarendon avenue, West Roxbury and it was only after a four months' search that Todesco was located.
