1919 Declaration of Intention
Ciriaco Ernesto la Torella was born on 25 July 1888 in Torre le Nocelle to Francesco "Filippo" la Torella and Carmela Musto. He married Antonia Colella on 18 August 1910 in Boston. They had two sons - Philip (1912) and Pasquale (1914).
Antonia was the daughter of Pasquale Colella and Emanuela Nardone. Below is their entry from the 1910 Boston Marriage Index. (Click twice to enlarge it to a readable size.)

Ciriaco started out manufacturing roller skates (1910 census), but by 1930 had switched over to working for the NECCO candy company in Boston. His World War II draft registration caused a chuckle as his place of employment was listed as "Nicko's Candy Company."

Ciriaco was naturalized on 21 June 1926 in Boston.
