Clamanzio Celestino Ardolino's 1922 Passport Photo
For over two years I have been searching for any record of Clamanzio's death. Thanks to John D's suggestion that I try the three day free trial at ProQuest ... I found it! (Insert happy dance of your choice.)
NY Times Obituary 24 October 1926 Page E9
"ARDOLINO-Suddenly, at Yonkers, N.Y., on Friday, Oct. 22, 1926. Clarence C., beloved husband of Catherine C. Ardolino. Funeral from his late residence 80 Vista Ave., Monday, Oct. 25, at 9:30. High mass of requiem at St. Bartholomew's Church, Saw Mill River Road and Palmer Av., Yonkers, at 10 A.M."
Here's a previous post regarding Clamanzio's passport application and the FBI files of wife Caterina Vozella. At various times Clamanzio also went by the names Celestino and Charles, but this is the first time I've seen him as Clarence. Had the 80 Vista Avenue address not been the same as the address of widow Caterina in the 1930 census, I might have been hesitant about the happy dance ... but I'm doing it NOW ... and it's probably a good thing no one's here to see it ;-)
